Ever since arriving at this resort, Quinn had been miserable. It was like some weird alternate universe where Rachel was popular and had already managed to ruin Quinn's reputation before she even got there. Finn's own arrival had been the only good thing to happen, but that was short-lived. Apparently, ge was from some point in their life after her amd he knew about what had happened with Puck.
She had never intended for him to find out. Puck was, as she'd told Finn, a mistake that should never have happemed. She hadn't wanted Finn to get hurt by a one time thing, so it seemed to her that it was better to keep it quiet. It had worked well to the point Quinn was coming from, but apparently something went wrong later.
If there was any way she could make this up to Finn, she wanted to. No, she hadn't always been the best girlfriend. She took advantage of him quite a bit, but she loved him and never really imagined they would break up.
It was a good sign that he was willing to see her, though, wasn't it? She could tell he wasn't happy about it, but his willingness had to mean something. She already hated it here and she needed someone to not hate her. She needed Finn to not hate her.
They had agreed to meet at the Velvet Room after her shift, so as she finished her clean-up, she realized she had no idea what to say. It had all been running through her head the past couple of days, but now she was at a loss. She clocked out and walked into the dining room where Finn was already waiting. At least he had shown up. She had wondered if he would back out on her.
She walked toward him, keeping enough distance from him, though it was hard. Not even a week before they had been on a nice date back in Lima and things as a couple had been good. Now he was from after they broke up, she didn't really know what to do. "Thank you for coming," she said softly. Looking at him hurt a lot more than she thought it would. "Let's go..." she trailed off, not knowing where they could go. "For a walk somewhere."
