Leah sat there, uncomfortable in her dress. She hated those things, and this was the one time in probably the next few years she would be caught in one, but she wanted to show respect to Robin and Marian, and the fact she was there alone didn't really help that thought. If she had asked Jake, he probably would have kept his hand on her knee because he wouldn't want anyone else looking at her legs that were always covered by the jeans she usually wore, that were uncovered by the short, minidress she wore, in the snow, no less.
It had been a nice service, but she was keeping by her thought that she never wanted to get married, and the fact Jake had just proposed only solidified that to her, now he was off sulking and she had spent the past few days in her own room instead of his because she couldn't say yes. When they called for witnesses, noone else was getting up except Laura, so she stood up, and walked over to the pedestal and scribbled her name down before looking between Robin and Marian, a small smile on her face, then flashing a look of disgust over her dress that Robin would understand as she sat back down.
