The day was beautiful, and surprisingly it was warm. Enough so that as she uncovered things that had been protected with tarp and any thing else she could get her hands on, she didn't need more than the thin robe she wore over her dress to keep it clean. She didn't have to worry about her hair frizzing. Though she was careful not to snag her necklace on anything as she worked.
The Gazebo was decorated in the white twinkling lights that Robin had recommended, and white roses, both real and silk, both large and miniature. The trail leading to the gazebo had been swept clean. The trail lined with pink red and crimson rose petals. If the snow on either side of the path hadn't been so deep she would have set out chairs. As it was the people who came would have to stand. She did have the mind to stretch out the plastic and the tarp so there was something for the people that were invited could stand and not sink into the snow.
She was ecstatic, happy, humming to herself as she added the last minute touches. She was glad of it. She'd had fun last night, she hoped Robin had as well. When she woke, she'd roused him to, got him moving to the shower, while she prepared breakfast, and a bit of 'hair of the dog' to take away any headache he might have. Once he was out and eating she'd worked on his hair as he sat. Combing mousse into his hair, and brushing it till it shone, like she had promised she would, and parting it in away that appealed to his face. Once he had finished eating she set to getting ready herself. When she left she gave strict orders for him not to touch his hair, and if he had any troubles with buttons or ties or anything to call and let her know. Thus far she hadn't heard from him so she imagined he had figured it out from the fitting that had been done.
Once she was finished she climbed up into the structure. Slipping her shoes back on. She switched the lights on, her book within reach. A little radio set up not far from where she would stand. It's remote control with the bible. Now all she had to do was wait.
