Bella watched quietly, sipping her coffee until only the dregs were left. She leaned forward, putting the cup down on the table. The way George was commenting on the scenes seemed so strange to her, like it was informing him on all the things he'd missed at the actual time. When she'd watched Twilight and New Moon, there wasn't a lot she hadn't known. Of course, the surprises had come when she'd read the books, about what happened after her time. She wondered where George came from and if he'd have trouble watching the rest of the series; the things he hadn't experienced. At least in her story they had all lived happily ever after. Band of Brothers was about war; it was inevitable that at least some of the people he had known would be dead by the end of it.
"You live, you know?" she blurted out, almost involuntarily. "You get through the war and live until you're old and grey." She bit her lip, glancing across at him.
