Brooke looked up from the dress as she heard the knock at the door. Putting the sewing aside, she pushed herself up from the sofa and grabbed her coffee, taking another sip, as she walked towards the door. She managed to get it open with one hand, the mug still in the other, and grinned brightly at the woman standing outside. "Guinevere, right?" she asked. She presumed this woman was the one she'd been talking to earlier, although she didn't look like the Guinevere she'd always imagined from the King Arthur legends. Still, who was she to judge. She stepped back into the cabin, opening the door wider. "Come in," she said, gesturing with a little nod of her head. "I'm sorry about the mess. There's, like, seven of us living here at the moment." Technically there were only six of them, but Elena's brother Jeremy was dating Bonnie and was round more often than not when Bonnie was home. Then there was Kat, her and Damon and Stefan and Elena. It was a weird living situation, especially considering both Stefan and Damon's past with Katherine. Still, it kind of worked. She thought it helped that Kat was Brooke's best friend. Brooke was like the neutralising aspect. Besides, Brooke liked living with all her friends, even if they were relatively new friends.
