Arthur grinned, enjoying this immensely. How different this was; back home, he felt as though they could not even truly be friends, much less something more. Here, they had just had a chance for a wonderfully extended kiss (he could not really stop thinking of that), and were now bantering over breakfast. While he was still annoyed that they had been brought here against their will, he could not be upset about this time.
"Perhaps it's best to play it by ear; I would hate for you to feel obliged to put up with me for two months if you get frustrated with me after two weeks." He had to laugh at her remark. "I would hope I am capable of not completely destroying your kitchen."
