Gwen was cleaning up after breakfast, something she always found time for and also rather enjoyed. It made her mind clear for the day, even though she had been given the day to herself rather than for work. She had no reason to start with a fresh mind when she had hours to do so, but it was a force of habit now. However, as she finished, there was a knock at the door which she had certainly not expected. Pulling off the apron she had managed to get a hold of, she folded it over the back of the chair and opened the door with ease.
The face that welcomed her as she done so made joy fly through her. Laughing softly, she could not contain herself and threw her arms around him, lips meeting his with the practiced ease that came with a relationship in the midst of blooming.
"I'm so happy to see you like this," she said with a soft laugh before kissing him once more.
