Harry nodded, not knowing what else to say either.
He traced a pattern on the couch with his forefinger absentmindedly, then looked back up at her when she asked him a question.
"Some things I remembered. Valentine's Day was really difficult, because I was back at school with you and Ron and I felt like I couldn't say anything. It just bothered me all day - actually, longer than that. I know I had a lot of friends here, but I forgot some people... I guess maybe I remember things most vividly if there is something deep and emotional about them?" he shrugged. "Or maybe you tend to remember things after leaving this place if you're really smart and have a good memory. I mean, maybe it just depends on the person, about what all someone remembers."
