Lily had woken up to find an annoying sign above her head proclaiming her love for a Slytherin. She had no doubt that it was from Sirius, just because he was the only one who had really been teasing her about her time spent with Scorpius. He didn't really know what was going on, of course, but he pestered her enough about it. She knew Dominique wouldn't do something like that, so it had to be him. And she had to admit that she was livid. It didn't really matter that it was true, it just bothered her that he had to be so damn stuck on this one thing.
She didn't doubt that Sirius was also the one who told Scorpius' father about it, probably embellishing it like he had done with her. She thought back to his comment that she had been in Scorpius' lap the night they had been drinking. She had never actually been in his lap. But it sounded like Draco definitely thought something was going on.
Except that it was. She just hadn't been in a rush to tell anyone yet. In fact, the plan was to not tell anyone at least until all of the drama about it died down. But now, she had to wonder if it ever would. Maybe they should just be open with it. Draco didn't seem too bothered by it--other than the fact that he assumed she had lied to him before--he even said that you couldn't help who you loved. If a Malfoy who was known for having prejudices was willing to accept it, wouldn't her family accept it too?
She sighed softly, laying back on her bed. She was safely hidden in her room. Thanks to inheriting her talent at charms and hexes from her grandmother and mother respectively, she knew that it would take a lot of effort to get into her room, most wouldn't bother and those who did, the majority of them wouldn't be able to get in. Now she just had to wait for the sign to go away. She hoped it was something charmed to go away after April Fools or something.
