Pursing his lips together as Cherry had interjected himself within the conversation, he had been unsure what to exactly say without making a physical inkling about that fact. El Wray's eyes shifted between his girl and the customer. It looked rather fruity the way that the man stood with his hand on the hip, along with actually wanting to buy a ceramic figure wasn't helping really either. He wasn't even sure why she was even attempting to continue on with the occupation. Security was actually a perfect fit for the male, but that didn't concern him. Of course, he had made an appearence to scope out the Ice Room, but didn't make an effort to actually perform the duty that he was assigned to. People were none of his concern anymore. He had filled his debt to america a while ago, so he owned no one anything by doing a meaningless job at the resort. However, the only person that he cared about was standing a few feet away from him, an urge to pull her close and kiss her had been supressed for the tim being. It was obvious that she was a bit weirded out that he had come back from the brink of death. That wasn't something that he had a choice in the matter in either.
"Exactly," he agreed, watching the guy scuffle towards the door and out of sight. The nerve of some of the customers that hung around the place. Did they honestly expect El Wray or Cherry to make nice with them? They were sorely mistaken if that had gone through their minds. "Some places don't have a back room. I'm sure that porta potties don't have a hidden back room." Sarcastic? Kind of a smart ass remark? Yeah, a little bit, even though that was the only place that he could think of quickly that didn't have a backroom..unless one did and no one had the decency to tell him.
"Actually, that wouldn't be too bad to have with a back room," he said with a small grin spreading across his facial features. Those tiny gestures were just that. Small. El Wray wasn't one to show a bright smile for really anyone. Well, for anyone but Cherry. She's the only one that really truly had made him smile in the past.
Following her into the back room, El Wray could feel her dark eyes glancing back at him over her shoulder and even when she wasn't looking his own way. The entire time around Cherry felt odd to be honest. A part of him thought that she might not want him around, while the other part wanted him. Maybe the almost dead thing had acually gotten her worse then he thought previously. "I heard that. Zombies would better then being forced in this crap hole. At least, you got the classy job. They made me secruty of some place called the Ice Room. It has drinks," he continued on with a small shurg of his shoulder.
El Wray kept his eyes gazing down the back of Cherry's hair as she continued to talk softly, tilting his head slightly. It was soon heard that his thoughts on the situation were true. The times that she seemed to stop talking to him through posts. It was because she wasn't ready to deal with the fact that he was still alive. Heck, El Wray knew he shoudln't be alive. That much he was sure about in this entire situation. "It's not like I asked to be alive again," he replied in a normal voice on the contrast of Cherry's soft voice, letting his gaze trail down her body slowly. It wasn't a checking out gesture. He had plenty of times to enjoy the woman's figure. At that moment, it was about taking her in all over again. "It wasn't my choice either. Two against the world. I never miss....don't you think I knew I was going to die out there?" he asked, taking a couple of steps towards his girl. "Does that mean you rather not see me around you? I can't promise that I'll be able to keep away from you if that's the case."
