There was a certainly flicker in her dark gaze as his smart-ass comment just made her even more upset. A sharp smack came across his other cheek as a challenging look was given to him, "Better?" One of the customers near them cleared his throat, and Cherry just roll her eyes and ignored him. She wasn't meant for this retail bullshit. Cherry really wasn't cut out for working, she had horrible ethic, and really wasn't a people-person. She didn't like people, they were too annoying, and self centered and they reminded her too much of herself - and honestly, she wasn't that quite fond of herself, either.
"Excuse me...?" The customer persisted.
"WHAT?!" Voice laced with venom was shot in his direction as the man's eye shot open in alarm and fidgeted in his spot.
"I... um, was just curious as to how much this is?" Holding up a ceramic figurine of the resort timidly, Cherry rolled her eyes and waved her hand dismissively. "Four hundred fucking dollars." She replied without a second thought, that was lie, of course. She just wanted the man to leave them alone. Couldn't he tell that she was busy with OTHER things? The customer, however, was persistent. A haughty look came over him as he turned over the piece and pointed to the price tag. "Excuse me, Miss, but the tag says nine dollars." Head tilted slightly as her gaze returned to El Wray as if to say 'Do you see the type of shit I have to put up with?'
Crimson red lips pursed in frustration, as she shifted on her good leg. "If you knew the price of that piece of shit, why did you bother asking?" Teeth were clenched as she tried to swallow down her mounting frustration. Nails drummed on the counter as she watched El Wray. He was likely getting a kick out of this, if he was going to laugh, she was going to punch him. Her look spoke on so many levels that her words did not. She was getting angry at this customer, and at the situation that has been placed before her. Cherry Darling was not a happy camper.
