Elena took the time that he was gone to pull his Valentine's Day gift out of her purse. She set it beside her, fully intent on giving it to him when he returned. He foiled that plan, of course, by presenting her with a tone of presents. She gently took the bouquet of flowers from him, inhaling deeply. The next thing she opened was the gift that contained teh teddy bear and she couldn't help but letting out a delighted little squeal as she hugged the bear close to her. She opened the next gift and smiled at the CD of Disney love songs. There life really was like a Disney fairytale. He was her Prince Charming.
When she read the card he gave her, she had to brush a few tears away from her eyes as she leaned forward to kiss him softly. "Forever." She whispered in agreement before reaching into her purse to pull out her gift to him. She knew he didn't have a journal here at Ridgeway, but was certain he kept one at home, or had at one point. She had wanted to get him a watch, but she had given him the one he now wore on his wrist for Christmas. "I'm sorry it's not much," she fretted. "The only thing left I have to give you is my heart. You own it completely."
