"Tony..." She shook her head not liking how that was starting out before she even started. "Then it was your job, and..." She met his gaze again, trailing off as she decided she didn't want to go down that path either. "Just how much of it was a lie?" Did she want to know the answer? Maybe not, but she was there to support him. And if Mister Daniels supported her tonight, because of it... Then at least it would be a worthy reason.
She unlaced her fingers from his, standing on her toes she brought both hands to his face, one on each cheek. She met him eye for eye, or as much as she could being a foot and a few inches shorter than he was. "Tony, any woman worth a grain of salt would see you for the man you are. You're a good man. If she knew even the smallest part of you, she would have seen that. And she would have stuck by your side no matter what." She dragged her teeth over her lower lip as she paused for just a minute. "Because that's what real love is, you love them no matter what. Because real love can be blind sometimes... You love them for the good and the bad. Not just the pretty parts." She was fairly sure that was how she felt for him. With a soft snort, as she teased to lighten the mood, "I would help you hide the bodies." It was her little way of telling him just how much she loved him, without saying the actual words. She wasn't so sure if he was ready to hear them again...
