They both knew what she meant without her having to say it. Hell, she was pretty sure Johan knew what she meant, because he nuzzled her free hand suddenly. As much as she should have been afraid of him, being mortal and vulnerable, she was starting to get the feeling that even if Crowley had a reason to send Johan after her, the mutt wouldn't obey him.
Smacking his hand away, Anna took a few tentative steps. Her knees gave and she caught herself on the edge of the bed with a grunt. Before Crowley could get to her again, she pushed herself up.
