Anna pushed herself to the edge of the bed. She knew exactly what he was doing. He didn't like her like this anymore than she liked it. The issue though was that he didn't like her like this, but he didn't feel like he could leave either. He had some inner battle going on. If Anna wasn't so flustered with the situation in general, she might have found it amusing.
"Johan, up." The hound obeyed immediately, jumping off the bed and standing at attention beside where she was sitting. Anna cast a defiant almost cocky glare in Crowley's direction. A fine, I'll do it myself, even if it kills me sort of look. And then she pressed her hand against Johan's back and pushed up to her feet. She felt every muscle and nerve in her body scream. Her legs started to tremble and she locked her knees to keep from falling. That was about as far as she could get for the moment.
