revolt :: ooc

Hi guuuyyysss!!! I was going to wait until tomorrow because long day and things, but I just couldn't help myself! Thought I'd get a quick intro, and hopefully a quick first post out for my boy here, before I tuck in for the short night.

Anyway, I'm Matt. Some, if not most of you, seem to know me. I'm relatively sure I've crossed paths with a few of you from time to time here. But for those of you who don't know me, I'm a dork who's in love with dorky, heroic characters (i.e Peter Parker, The Eleventh Doctor, etc...) and some very evil people, but those we won't worry about. I have 4 dogs within my house (I technically only have 1), but my other two roommates have 1 and 2 respectively. I'm a nerd, but I don't bite so you can approach me on any topic you so choose. (Though I should warn... I've never seen Supernatural, TVD, or The Originals, and I'm super behind on the DC CW shows).

But enough about me.

This here is my nerdy BOI Peter Benjamin Parker (how many of you even knew he had a middle name?) Now his face is Mr. Tom Holland, which is MCU Peter, obviously, BUT he is not from the MCU, I just couldn't resist those little chipmunk cheeks (also Tom's real age is pretty much spot on for Peter in the game's age) I am bringing in Peter Parker from the recent PS4 release: Marvel's Spider-Man. The reason I so chose this Peter vs. MCU or 616 is simple, he doesn't have nearly as much convoluted backstory as 616 to navigate, yet he has an established, deep character that MCU is only just now starting to scratch the surface of. What's more, the PS4's Spider-Man story might be my all time favorite Spider-Man story... period.

This Peter, like his comic counterpart, has dealt with the likes of Electro, Scorpion, Kingpin, Mister Negative (new guy), Rhino, Vulture, and Dr. Octopus already; he's dated, and broken up with MJ, and he's been Spider-Man for 8 long years. So he's got history, but not too much.

Peter's a dork, he's lovable, has a sweet, wholesome charm to him. He makes a lot of mistakes, especially in personal and love lives, he's always striving to do the absolute right thing, but puts far too much responsibility on his shoulders and it ruins his relationships pretty heavily. He's smart, brainy, and well on his way to being one of the biggest brains in his Universe (though he sometimes lacks the ambition/confidence to explore that). And of course he has all of the powers that allows him to do whatever a spider can.

He's lost a lot, a lot, but he keeps pulling himself up, fighting the good fight, and always striving to help others.

I have rambled on long enough, I have been out too long, I am a bit punch drunk.

So I look forward to playing with you all and finding the fun and interesting connections that makes these panfandoms so fun!
