"It's not common, but you're not the first." Rose didn't have any personal experience with what Echo was going through; she remembered every moment of the 6+ years she'd been here, but that didn't mean she couldn't empathize a little with how frustrating it must be. It had been months since she'd vanished, but she'd been here awhile before that and if Rose read the room right, it sounded like at least some of the others from her world were ahead of her. Waking up from the amber was disorienting enough without having some weird memory shit playing with you. This sounded almost worse than what had happened to Clarke and Rose knew she would have been pretty damn frustrated if it was her.
"I've been here over 6 years now," she offered with a shrug. "You'll be hard-pressed to find a refugee I don't know." She didn't hold Echo's tone against her. Rose could be pretty damn irrational, but she really couldn't blame Echo for being frustrated with the situation, Anyone would have been, especially with everyone you remembered knowing up on fucking Mars.
"If you mean people showing up here, waking up from the amber pods and that shit, yeah, that's normal. We just started waking more people up about a year ago, but Thea, me and the Pevensies have all been here longer. Thea's the only one left who's been here longer than me." As far as she knew, anyway. She wouldn't speak to the few who'd been lost to them ages ago. It was always hard to say if the missing had simply gone home to their own worlds or had been taken like Barry had been.
