WHO: Michael Corner & Sally-Anne Perks WHAT: Random encounters are fun! WHERE: Corridor WHEN: Thursday afternoon RATING: PG STATUS: Pending
Michael Corner had always been a bit of a social butterfly and despite a war, little had changed. He remained relatively unaffected outwardly even though his mind, in its still moments, would remind him of the screams, cries, and smells of death. It wasn't a cheery topic and Michael almost felt guilty complaining since others had been affected, in his opinion, so much worse. He hadn't lost anyone, his family wasn't plagued by the Ministry, his friends were still his friends...
Nonetheless, Michael didn't look his normal self when he emerged from his last class of the day. It had either been more boring than usual or he just needed more sleep, but, either way, he had barely kept his eyes open and when they dared to flutter close, he remembered the sights and sounds of the Final Battle. It wasn't something Michael would tell anyone though some of the blokes in his dorm might have noticed his restless nights. Yet, lack of sleep caught up that day and he definitely didn't look his Sunday best. He stumbled out of class, dropping his books everywhere. "Bollocks!" He crouched to grab them, hoping no professors heard. |
