Ember gave a small jump when she heard the voice and turned quick to see her old friend. But when Lily practically shouted her name out, she ducked back behind her paper, shushing and making sure that Lily was under cover too. "Not so loud!" She hissed, peeking over at her Mum's table as carefully as she could. Reasonably sure that she was still unseen, she relaxed slightly and looked back over to the youngest Potter.
This certainly wasn't the ideal table that she'd taken it for. Not that she didn't like Lily Potter. The pair of them used to be quite close. But they'd drifted in years and now she was going to feel obligated to have a bit of a chat and really she had other concerns at the moment.
"Sorry. I'm just..." She peeked over again, frowning. "Y'know. Dropping in on old friends. Saying hullo. And all that." She said, giving a quick and rather fake smile. "So. Hullo."
