He was happy to be with Remus finally for this night. He tried not to give off the impression to Remus that he was exceptionally happy to be going out with him. He had been disappointed that they hadn't been able to share this before but he could understand why. He was ecstatic to be out now but still a bit concerned with this potion that Remus was taking.
Sirius had been unusually quiet for much of the walk out to the forest. His mind was thinking quite a bit about how tonight would go. Sirius trusted Remus' assessment of the potion that Severus Snape had given him but Sirius wanted to see it for himself. That was the only way that he would be completely assured that it was safe and his mate wasn't in any sort of harm. He hated that it meant using Remus as somewhat of a lab rat but it was probably the only way and Remus didn't seem all that put off by it.
Brought out of his inner thoughts by Remus' question, Sirius considered to how to answer. "You are comfortable with the idea of going out of the Forest? What if some of these people are night owls. It might be a bit dramatic to come across a werewolf and a giant black dog," he replied. He wasn't sure how he felt with being the voice or reason. It was just not his normal mode.
"Whatever you are comfortable with, Mate. I will follow you anywhere."
