Re: Registration Table: Anthony & Cat
"Hey," Anthony greeted as she approached him, easily returning her smile as he finished adjusting the name tag on his jacket. Honestly, the whole name tag thing was a little annoying to him, mainly because he hated the idea of sticking something on his beloved jacket, but as much as a rule breaker as he could be he was also trying to play nice. It didn't mean that he didn't have a sudden urge to take the tag off as soon as it was on, but now that Cat was here it was easier to focus on the whole egg hunt excursion.
Unlike Cat, Anthony had no idea who she was beyond what she had told him. Which was okay with him - he barely knew anyone in town, anyway, so it wasn't that odd to begin with. Generally Anthony tried to gage people's reactions to him, trying to find any spark of recognition in their eyes or their features. Not that he had the luxury of being able to flat out deny who he was, especially considering his real family name and the fact that every now and then he used to find himself in gossip magazines just because of the circle of friends he used to hang out with, but as far as he was concerned that was a lifetime ago. He wasn't that person anymore. Hell, he was a recluse compared to who he used to be prior to the whole ordeal with his kidnapping, but...
Well, it didn't really matter anymore. Not right now, anyway. From what he could see, it didn't look like he had to worry about it, since Cat didn't seem to recognize him as Anthony Sawyer.
"Ready?" As he spoke, he could swear that he felt something hit him. Like that sensation when you get buzzed, just enough to feel it but not bad enough to feel worried about getting smashed. He didn't think anything of it, though, considering he had taken a dosage of painkillers to prevent his leg from being a nuisance, so for now he just assumed everything was normal. "Which route do you want to take first?"
