Re: Registration Table: Michael and Janus
Janis would skip if he skipped, and probably enjoy it, and it had absolutely nothing to do with which face she was wearing at the time. Every second she had up top was a gift bought dear, and if she took a fancy to skipping that day, she would do it, thanks very much.
Janis slid him the most innocent of innocent looks. "I think I win. That is not new." She wasn't sure she wanted to talk about Janus as if he was another person. It was a faintly disturbing thought, and one she had no doubt would proliferate with everyone they met.
She took the flask without a second's hesitation, glancing down at the absurdly shiny surface. "Jeez," she said, with a hint of the local accent around the avoidance of blasphemy. "You don't even have a scratch on here." She gave a heavy, theatrical sigh. "That's sad." She unscrewed the top and took a healthy swig with a lot of practice in the motion, not even bothering to take a sniff to see what it was. It had a little burn and she squinted with it while still shaking her head. "You could at least have an old girlfriend's name engraved on there or something."
