Registration: Peter & Sunshine
Peter was totally prepared. Flashlight clipped to his jeans, a map in his back pocket, and an Easter basket in hand - oh, right, he had his nametag too. Obviously. Stuck on his shirt, left hand side, proclaiming his name (Peter) with a little smiley face next to it. Yeah, the smiley face had crude bunny ears. He was in the egg-hunting spirit! It sounded fun, and it was a way to take his mind off the fact that he'd be spending the holiday away from his aunt and friends in New York. And, too, it was a break from trying to figure out how he was supposed to get an in to Tethys when his face'd probably set off a bunch of alarms. Anyway - a bit of carefree silliness never hurt anybody. And okay, so he had no idea who Sunshine was, but he thought of himself as a pretty friendly guy; he wasn't worried about doing this with a stranger. Though, Peter was curious to put a face to the name... Sunshine didn't sound like the kind of name parents gave to their baby, so maybe it was a nickname? Or maybe her parents were just different.
Maybe it wasn't a her. Maybe Sunshine was a guy. Who knew!
Finding out was half the fun. Well, maybe a quarter. Peter lounged by the registration table, keeping a keen eye out for the nametag he was looking for. It didn't really occur to him that his partner might not be as psyched to be a part of this. Still, at least he'd have enough energy for the both of them.
