[watching in silence] Who: Lucus Travers and Josh King When: Mid Morning Where: Coffee Shop What: Stalking, obviously Warnings: Josh doesn't cuss, don't know about Luke. Also if you've been stalked, I wouldn't read, could be triggery.
His mother was home, drunk and passed out in the bed he had carried her too. Together they shared a few beers, he stopped at three, not interested in getting sloshed because he had other plans. Mama however, drank the rest of the twenty four pack and cried the whole time while clinging to him and talking about how she needed to get better for her children. He was twenty eight, he no longer needed his mama to take care of him, but Joe still needed her. If he even wanted her to anymore, because at this point, Joe relied on Josh to be there.
He didn't want to leave her home alone, but he had an obsession that needed fuel fanning the flames. Something he possibly couldn't get away from at this point. Hi name was Luke. He worked in the little coffee shop in town, and Josh was more than smitten with a man who didn't know his name. He should be ashamed and part of him was, especially after considering what happened to him and his mom.
He means no ill will to the man and a major part of him doesn't want to be noticed by him either. He wants to love from affair, picking him apart by his mannerisms and the nature of his person. He's a far better person than Josh will ever be and he's lovely, something to be cherished. That's why he finds himself in the coffee shop, laptop open to sematics of a new table and set of chairs he's creating in the garage. He sells his precious creations out of there while he work as a handy man around town. Soon, he hopes to open a store for his Uncle, himself and others with the same talents.
He takes a sip from his pumpkin spice cappuccino, it's winter and this should be out of season but they don't seem to take away a good thing when it's wanted. Artificial flavoring or not, it still tastes just as good as it would in Autumn. He slyly brings his eyes up over the top of his laptop and watches Luke in silence, then looks back down before he sees or feels he's being watched. Josh is fine with looking at him from the side, he should wear sunglasses to avoid his eyes being seen at all. There's the part that wishes he could be noticed, the small part of himself, tiny but there.
If Luke did notice him, he'd probably … he doesn't know what he'd do but he knows it wouldn't be good.
