I spent a year out in the desert,
Who: Noa Bellamy and Willa Davidson
Where: Willa's trailer; Dog Park
What: A little meeting that's more than overdue.
When: [slightly backdated] 10/2/15 1:00PM
As a rule Noa doesn't stick her nose where it doesn't belong unless she needs to, and it most definitely hasn't belonged in the complicated Willa, Bishop, Teagan triangle that their Chaplain has created for himself. He's been ducking her ever since his ex flame came riding up on that horse of hers with cattle on her heel, and she suspects it's because he knows she won't be feeding him any kind of sympathy. Bishop Coldiron is a grown man capable of killing without blinking, he should be smart enough to sort it all out on his own. If he doesn’t Noa is certain the women will do it for him. The only unknown in the equation is Willa. The one in the whole situation that Noa’s had very little interaction with. She hasn’t missed the woman around the Park, she’s even heard some of the bitches complain about her (jealous things that they are), but up until now her own curiosity has been an abstract sort of thing. Quiet enough to be kept down to only a tickling thought at the back of her skull, drowned out by the rest of the gossip that floats around. But she's feeling like a meet and greet is more than overdue now that they’ve had some kind of conversation. Noa will still stand firm on staying out of the drama, if there really is drama, but making the woman less of a mystery will help to erase some of the question marks bumping around in her brain, the ones running up against the rest of the thoughts in her head. If she can have one less unknown taking up precious space she’ll be the better for it. There are a lot of things to think about lately. Noa waited a few hours after there freenet conversation before winding her way through the maze of trailers and tents, Duke ever present at her side. The big Shepherd isn’t her constant companion, doesn’t follow her like he followed Jonny, but she doesn’t mind the company. There’s no sign announcing the trailer that belongs to Willa, but Noa’s more than confident she has the right one when she wraps her knuckles against the doorframe and waits. |
