It's about damn time that he and Rhydderch are having this conversation. A man can only stay at the Dog Park for so long before making himself useful, either as a prospect or by picking up the slack somewhere like Marcus has, like Max will soon. Vic's been keeping an eye on Rhydderch over the last couple of days, trying to tell when'll be good for them to have this talk of theirs. But when Rodeo gives Vic an order, he figures now's the best time of all.
He doesn't bother announcing his presence or bothering with formalities. Vic settles heavily down next to Rhydderch, a cup of water in his hand. It's meant to look like alcohol on purpose; if he needs to finish this conversation with his fists or worse, all the better to have his wits about him. He'll have some of Bishop's 'shine later on.
"We got a strict visitors policy I should review with you." There's no point in beating around the bush. Better to see how the conversation will go right from the start. He takes another sip of water, then adds, "But first I gotta know if you're thinking about prospecting here."
