Who Nate and Nora What Film talking. When Sun's down Where Dog Park
It was with a couple glances back at the Capitol in his rearview that Nate had made the drive from Austin to Greenbelt. No he knew people there, people he genuinely liked and now worried about. It was only for a night. One night and then he'd be back and he could keep an eye on them first hand.
This was why Bishop asked him. He knew it. Nate became emotionally invested in people and projects. Once he started something he wanted, no needed to see it through. Adelaide and Charlie and Demi's safety had become incredibly important to him. The fate of the Dog Park was there fate and so, he was an eager errand boy, out for some 'shine and maybe a good time before he got the phone and brought it back to whomever it was this bob was going to.
True to Bishops word, the gate was opened for him and his friend was there waiting. They'd talked for awhile about situations at the Capitol - Demi particularly, dodged bitches, met Teagan and had a lovely conversation - that was mostly he telling every embarrassing thing about Bode Coldiron that he could get away with, before he was drunk enough and stoned enough to consider the freckled film student he'd promised to visit and talk to.
It was at the firelights twilight flare that he was directed to where she was. She was smaller than he expected. Of course, he could only see her back as he moved up behind her. He cleared his throat and in his thickest Scottish brogue said, "Nora, reit? I'm Nate. Can Ah ned ye awa' fur awhile?"
