Olivia was more than happy to continue to let Josh go ahead of her. She was so used to moving so quickly; if danger struck, chances were good she was already a couple yards away. The pace they were moving at was the exact opposite of her comfort zone, but with Josh there she didn't mind at all. His familiarity was a steadying sort of comfort.
"I guess they haven't figured out that education makes for tasty brains," she joked as they climbed up the stairs, her hand still on her gun's holster even though evidence seemed to point to them being in the clear. "And hey, maybe I'm your bodyguard. The nearest zombie may be behind you, after all." God, why was she so nervous?
Okay, so she knew exactly why she was nervous and cracking terrible jokes. But that didn't mean she wanted to dwell on Andrea. And the new environment -- or maybe it was just being out of the Library -- really was helping.
Olivia grinned as she saw all the computers, wondering if they'd be able to fit a couple onto Josh's bike. She'd have to come back once she was able to bring things in. Day would be beside herself if Olivia came back with a bunch of unconcealed goods. "This is awesome. And exactly the reason why I never did any reading. I mean, Buzzfeed? It was so good." She smirked over her shoulder at Josh as she led the way towards a shelf of magazines, feeling more comfortable now. it was easy to tell whether a place had zombies or not, and so far they were in the clear.
