Josh felt lucky Olivia stood behind him at that particular moment, because he couldn't help the small smirk that appeared on his lips. He didn't mean to, not really; Josh knew what she meant, which was not a reference to their hook-up spots. "It's really weird. I think we're safe," he said slowly, peering around in case a zombie chose that exact second to pop up out of nowhere. "If I remember correctly, we need to go to the second floor, first, and then the fifth floor." Josh found the sign for the nearest flight of stairs just over on their left, and motioned for Olivia to keep a few paces behind him as he scanned the stairwell.
"I feel like your bodyguard," Josh murmured as they made their way up the stairs. He wasn't sure why he was being so quiet - it's not like the books were going to leap off their shelves and attack them. He chuckled lightly when Olivia mentioned looking for books for Gray Wolf's daughter. That was a funny name, Gray Wolf. Maybe his mother tried it. Maybe they were Native American. As soon as he saw the door for the second floor exit, though, Josh was back to business and finished (for now) trying to picture if Gray Wolf actually resembled a wolf in any shape or form. His eyes lit up as they locked onto the computers. "It's like Christmas in here," he said, almost giddy.
"I know you didn't read much. That's why I had to tutor you," Josh smiled teasingly over at Olivia.
