He follows her out, hands in his pockets and a smile on his face that matches hers. He's had his doubts before about whether Noa enjoyed spending time with him, but that smile she's just given him reaffirms his feeling that maybe he's onto something, here.
"Back in California," he answers as he steps into Noa's studio, looking around to take in all the little details of the place. It's easy to imagine her at work here, and it only serves to raise his opinion of her as as he finally gets a glimpse of what it is she does on a day-to-day basis. Pete holds his arms up, turned to show the designs off again. "When I graduated from college. The one on the left's for my mom's maiden name, my middle name now, and the one on the right is for my last name. The one on my leg, though, I got here. Electric 13, just off of UT's campus."
Pete bends down in the center of her studio to roll up his jeans cuff just enough to show her the caduceus on his calf. "They could probably use a touch-up one of these days," he adds. "What about you? You do yours yourself?"
