It was good having Ward back. Sid would never say it wasn't. However, when imagined having his brother back, he didn't calculate the end of the world or sharing a bedroom--let alone a hospital room--with his brother. At this point they'd sort of outgrown that, right? Obviously allowances had to be made for the end of the world, and zombies and shit. But sometimes... Some nights... Sid had a hard time falling asleep with someone breathing in the next bed over. Not unless he was properly worn out.
That was probably the bigger problem, actually. The blob rain. It meant he wasn't going out, wasn't doing any runs. He wasn't quite stir crazy, but he certainly wasn't tired.
Getting a snack was mostly a distraction. Something to do until he felt tired enough to sleep. He didn't actually care what he was going to eat. Having company while he wasn't caring about what his late night snack was was definitely a bonus. And it was nice to know he wasn't the only one getting a little stir crazy.
"If by worth eating you mean edible, then yes. Loads," he said with a half smirk. "Shouldn't you be in bed, young lady?"
