"They were very bad men." The pout-y voice of Adrienne O'Carroll suddenly emerged from behind them, having slunk into the room without notice as silently as a snake in the grass. Over time Adrienne's general mannerisms had slowly become much more likened to one Bellatrix Lestrange, but especially in the last year. The things that had happened, everything they'd seen, it had been the final straw for what little sanity the woman had left. And even that hadn't been very much.
She looked with wide, rabid eyes at the pair before turning sharply to glare murderously at the men in white coats on the other side of the glass. Some of them saw her and automatically shrank back, as if they feared her more than the undead cannibal strapped to their table. Adrienne grinned viciously and gave them an innocent wave, which made them even more nervous but it got them to turn back to what they were doing and work even faster. The death eater cackled.
Willa, however, was staring at Adrienne with a certain level of exasperation. "What do you mean they were bad men?"
Adrienne shrugged, speaking in a smaller, more timid voice like she was being reprimanded. "They were bad men. They weren't doing what they were supposed to and then one of them tried to escape. Mummy had to teach them a lesson."
