"I love you." The words were almost an afterthought as Ginny dove for the knapsack, her fingers pushing back the top and grabbing at the sandwiches. Taking a large bite she said, "I've not had proper food in ages. What're these? If they're corned beef..." She trailed off, her head shaking, a slightly disgusted tone in her voice. She'd have eaten it, though. At that moment in time, Ginny would have eaten anything.
Of course, Ginny would have nearly always eaten anything put in front of her.
Polishing off the sandwiches, she seated herself and watched Charlie for a second before asking, "How's it been in here? Did they try?"
