Who: Nymphadora Tonks, Rabbit Tuor
What: Baby mama drama.
When: Late night, Saturday
Where: Tonks' flat, Notting Hill.
When the patronus came to alert him, Rabbit was sitting around his coffee table with Atticus, Coop, and his grandmother (who, after giving hours of advice to both him and his sister decided to come back to Liverpool to be their glue for as long as they needed her). Understandably, Coop screamed bloody murder, throwing her playing cards in the air mid-‘go fish’ at the sight, Atticus only raised an eyebrow, and his grandmother muttered something that was such an old Italian expression that none of them could translate its meaning.
It took a few minutes to calm his sister down, and he was grateful that his brother was around to make tea, and that Nonna would be around to stay with her for the night - because the old woman kept shooing him toward the door, insisting that things would be just fine. And with them around, Rabbit was sure that Buttercup, who had been a bundle of nerves and tears for the past few weeks, would be just fine.
He didn’t bother changing out of his pajamas, or apparating to his normal spot in the alleyway near Tonks’ flat. It was no more than twenty minutes after the patronus was sent that he popped into existence in the woman’s living room, barefoot.
"Hey," he said as a greeting, his eyes worried and dark with shadows, opening his arms for her to fall into if she wanted.
