WHO: Molly and Arthur
WHAT: supper/evening activities
WHEN: Tuesday 22 September 1998
WHERE: The Burrow
RATING: Low
STATUS: Closed//Ongoing

Molly supposed that there were people who would get tired of doing what she did, day after day. But then again, she knew she'd get tired of doing Arthur's job day after day. That was the great balance of life, she figured.

Molly's duties today were fairly routine. She'd tidied up the house (which she hated to admit was much more easier and not always needed with the children grown) and picked up apples from Bilius. After cleaning them, she found she had enough for several pies and numerous turnovers (some which she sent to Ginny, some to her brother, and some to Bilius).

The clock on the wall soon chimed and Molly watched as Arthur's hand moved from "work" to "traveling". It was just as well, supper was almost ready. She was hoping for a quiet-for-them evening, although she wouldn't be terribly surprised if any of the boys showed up.

To some, the Weasleys' life may have been extraordinarily, well, ordinary- but Arthur never saw it that way. He had married the girl of his dreams, all those years ago, and they'd raised (were still raising) an incredible family together. What about that could be deemed boring, in any way?

Of course, some recent events were somewhat more exciting in the wrong ways, but they had come through those trials more or less in tact. Those trials, too, made Arthur appreciate the otherwise normal days twice as much.

So coming home from work, on a normal sort of Tuesday, to a house that smelled deliciously of baking apples, there was a spring in his step. "Molly, love? I'm home!"
