It was quiet in the Library, just how liked Mrs Bones liked it. There were the occasional whispers as Students who had started study groups were helping each other out. Hermione liked Mrs. Bones and thought of her to be a very friendly librarian. The Ravenclaw was sitting at a table in the far corner with an essay in front of her and a quill in her hand. She was putting the finishing touches on her own essay as she waited for Ron Weasley. She had offered to help him where he was struggling and since everyone’s mind was focused on N.E.W.T.S, Hermione thought she could help ease his mind.

Nodding slightly as she put a period at the end of her sentence and set it down. It was as good as it was going to get. She may be one of the top students in her year, but Hermione was always hard on herself when it came to her work. She always felt like it wasn’t good enough. Letting the ink dry, Hermione looked up and around hoping to catch the red hair of the boy she was too meet. Hermione wasn’t going to lie to herself; she was looking forward to the meeting with Ron. It also didn’t help that she was crushing on the boy for well over a year. The young girl never had the courage to say or do anything about it.

Stretching a bit before rolling up her essay, her head quickly turned as she did catch a flash of red and a smile crossed her lips. “Hi.” She gave a little wave as she saw Ron nearby.

Ron wasn't entirely sure why he was in the library except that he'd agreed to study with Hermione Granger. And she chose the library. He suspected that she spent most of her time in the library, which fit her, but it definitely didn't fit him. He was too loud and too clumsy at times to really work well in the narrow quiet space. He always seemed to get dirty looks whenever he made too much noise, from the other students.

"Hullo," he greeted, setting his books down on the table and taking the seat across from her. The chair scraped on the floor as he pulled it out and his face reddened.

She could tell that he was out of his element here. However, she didn't know where else they could go to study without there being distractions of any kind. Plus there was a vast amount of knowledge here that would surely help them if they need it. Hermione quickly closed her ink well and pushed it off to the side. "So where would you like to start? Did you finish the assignments that our professors assigned?"

Hermione knew that with the NEWTS fasting approaching they have been given an increase of homework, more so than she ever had in her third year. And she had taken every single class with the help of a time turner. "Easy subject first?"

	No of course he hadn't finished assignments yet. He always waited until the last minute. So Ron sort of shrugged it off. "I'm still working on some things," he said. "Maybe we can start with Potions?" That was his weakest subject of course. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
