Oliver's lip was mostly healed. If someone looked closely enough, it was still visibly damaged, but mostly healed. He hadn't bothered with a healing spell because it hadn't been that bad and also because he could just call it a training injury. Which is what he had told him mum it was because it was enough that his siblings had mocked him for being a victim of domestic abuse, at least they really were joking, whilst Oliver wasn't too sure his mum would see the funny side of it. And it wasn't like it was domestic abuse. Firstly, there was nothing domestic about this and, secondly, Oliver had kind of deserved it. Which, yes, thank you Charlotte, he did know was the same thing abused spouses said, but--well, Oliver mostly just hoped that this was a conversation he had covered with his siblings and wouldn't need to repeat to Angelina.
As much as Oliver loved his siblings, he actually preferred his friends. Mostly because they mocked him marginally less. Not much less, but just a little. Besides, Angelina was always a good shout. All three of the girls were in their own ways, really. Oliver was glad that despite all of their lives taking different directions, they had still managed to stay friends. Perhaps not always as close as they had wanted to, but that just came with the territory of growing up, he guessed.
Few of the patrons recognised Oliver when he entered, which by now he had gotten used to. It was a strange thing to be used to but it also came with the territory of being on one of the most successful league teams. He spotted Angelina straight away and shot her a smile across the pub. Undoing his coat on the way, Oliver managed to untangle his scarf before greeting Angelina. "Great to see you, Angie," he said, reaching out to kiss her on the cheek. "Can I get you a drink?" He offered, even though he did recall her saying she would be in charge of the drink getting. Still it was nice to offer.
Once they were settled, drinks in front of them, Oliver tilted his head at the woman. "How have you been?"
