"Yeah, but she's your sister," Ron pointed out. "You're allowed to say that about her." Ron didn't really expect Evan to deck him for insulting Daisy, but it was a respect thing. Ron certainly wouldn't be happy if Evan dared say anything offensive about Ginny, and as far as he was concerned it went both ways.
Happy to let the topic of moving out drop, Ron grinned at Evan's question. "Me personally? I could probably make a worm. Or a snake. Or a wand!" He shook his head. "But I'm brilliant at eating peppermint animals of any shape." Ron was pretty sure he didn't have a creative bone in his body, not that he'd really tried all that hard. Anything at which he didn't have a natural talent had tended to be pushed to the side in his fruitless quest for the One Thing at which he could outclass his brothers.
"Yeah?" At first, Ron thought Evan meant vouchers to shops, which decidedly didn't solve any of his problems, but he nodded as it became clear what Evan was actually talking about. "Charlie and Bill always get me something amazing." And now that he had a job, Ron really wanted to be able to repay that in kind. He'd even tried to whittle Charlie a dragon out of wood, but it had come out more or less like a very sharp wooden rock with a snake jumping out of it. "But I could offer Fred and George a morning shift one Saturday, for when they want to go drinking the night before."
