Caitlin smiled. It was difficult to turn her smile off when she was around Byron. He made her feel like she was somehow interesting. Knowing that he liked her rambling and that his words sounded truthful was all she needed to feel warm all over. That warmth spread out inside her like sunrise. She knew it wasn't easy to follow her train of thought given that it derailed so often, but he at least liked to watch it go by. That was plenty to make her entranced by him and eager to be in his presence.
The kiss to her cheek made her smile. "I like you too," she said, the smile broadening. "A lot."
