It was beautiful, Byron could agree with that. He also thought he perhaps understood what she meant by it being like staring into infinity. The space seemed to go on forever (which, yes, he did know it actually did), and the way the planetarium had the image move, slowly but noticeably, made it almost feel like flying through space. As they watched it, Byron reached out to take Caitlin's hand, linking their fingers together. At her comment about it being a better date than what she could have come up with, Byron shook his head. He was sure that Caitlin could come with some delightful date ideas. And then she carried on talking, which Byron found both endearing and something he was getting used to, which in its own right was rather lovely.
Turning his head, Byron shuffled in a little closer, so he could kiss Caitlin rather than give her an answer straight out. He didn't really mind what she wanted to call it, but he did have to admit that majority of it was probably rather date-like. "We can definitely call it a date," he told her with a kiss that lasted longer than the previous ones and perhaps even longer than strictly necessary. Byron liked kissing Caitlin, though, so he was hardly going to complain about it. "If you'd like," Byron added almost teasingly since the way Caitlin had said it rather implied that she would, in fact, like.
