Since she hadn't pushed him away, Roger thought it would be best not to push her away either, especially since it meant that she'd end up back in the rain, whilst at least currently she was protected by his umbrella. Her shivering, though, Roger could feel through the layer of his own coat. "It would have been rather rude of me to push you into a puddle," he said teasingly, giving the girl a small smile. It had, after all, been him who bumped into her, and whilst right now that was working out quite alright, Roger felt that his luck might have been slightly worse if he had, in fact, pushed her into a puddle.
"Can I buy you some hot chocolate?" He asked instead. "Both as an apology and as a way to ensure you don't catch hypothermia," he added with a grin. The shivering really was rather prominent. "I might even spare a drying and warming charm if you're lucky," Roger told her with a small laugh, as if such charms were in a shortage. Which they were not, but he felt that an offer for a hot chocolate, in this sort of weather, would certainly be improved by the girl not feeling a cold to her bone as she consumed it. "The rain might even subside," he added almost as if he was in position to know the whims of British weather.
