"You don't have to wear it with the suit, it will work with other outfits, too," Aisling assured Andrew. Perhaps he was right, maybe he didn't need a coat but since they were here and since Eugene was already taking Andrew's measurements, Aisling felt he might as well have a coat made, too. She watched as Eugene worked, or, well, more accurately, she watched Andrew. As much as Aisling did very strongly think of Andrew as her preferred baby brother, she was hardly not going to take in his physique. It was a very nice physique to look at. "Your boyfriend's a very lucky man, Andrew," she told him with a small grin, because really, Evan clearly was, Andrew looked fantastic.
At his words that he'd take the coat if it meant he'd be acceptable to the Astors, Aisling pulled a face. Andrew really could wear ripped jeans and a t-shirt and Aisling would still find him acceptable, the rest of her family, though, Aisling suspected wouldn't find Andrew acceptable no matter how nicely he was dressed. Unfortunately he was born in the wrong kind of family for them to deem him acceptable. Not that Aisling felt the need to mention that, especially not when Andrew had agreed to come with her to a family gathering.
The grin Aisling saw appear when New York was mentioned, though, that made her frown disappear and be replaced by a smile. It really was lovely just how excited Andrew was about the trip, it almost made Aisling look forward to it. Except for the wedding. The rest of it, though, seeing and showing Andrew New York, that would be nice, Aisling thought. "I'll make sure we have an excellent time," Aisling told him with confidence.
