Nina Deverill
Nina still went to work at the Ministry in canon, though as the war began her status as a former Slytherin Head Girl kept her relatively safe (though as a non pureblood, she was certainly watched). Because of her legal career, she was forced to participate in the treatment of muggleborns during the war, though the fact she was a trainee meant she escaped censure following Voldemort's downfall. However, she could not live with the guilt and resigned rather spectacularly with an open letter to the collaborators within the Ministry that was widely published, and she found herself somewhat unwillingly on the media circuit in the year or so after the war's end. She ended up working quietly in the legal department at Puddlemere United once her speaking work dried up, just wishing all her memories of the war would go away.
