Percy Weasley
(pulled from a previous app, please don't hate me)
Percy maintained a position within the Ministry during the Second War, though he was sent to work in the Ludicrous Patents Office under the Department of Magical Games and Sports. For all of his ambition, Percy was relegated to a position that would provide him him little advancement, even if he'd want it within a Death Eater Ministry. Though he wanted to make contact with his father, to make amends and offer his help in any small way he could, both men were being watch too closely for it ever to occur. Instead, Percy tried to help out in in any way he could, by assisting the odd muggleborn if he could or passing along any information he overheard in the Ministry's halls to Aberforth Dumbledore, who in turn provided him with the password to one of the Potterwatch broadcasts and eventually news that the Final Battle was to take place.
There was no second thought on Percy's part as soon as he received Aberforth's message. He apparated right into the Hog's Head and reunited with the majority of his family in the Room of Requirement. It was tense at first, as Percy all but stumbled over his tongue to apologize, but to his amazement it was the Twins who forgave him first, with a clap on the shoulder. For the first time that Percy could remember he let like he was part of the family. The joy he felt at their reunion was short lived. Percy was with Fred when his brother was killed by part of collapsed corridor, shortly after he told Pius Thicknesse of his resignation. Percy fought furiously after that, with little regard for his own safety, intent on bringing down Thickness, which he eventually did by transfiguring the man into a sea urchin.
Following the end of the Second Wizarding War, Percy really did not know where to go or what to do. He mourned Fred's death with the rest of his family and even offered to help George with the shop, though he freely admits that he would have been terrible at it and was relieved when Ron made a similar offer. Instead, Percy returned to the Ministry. At first, he rejoined the Department of International Magical Cooperation at a fairly high level for someone his age, but all Percy could think about was his time under Mr. Crouch, or more correctly Mr. Crouch's son. He put in for a transfer and was reassigned back to the Department of Magical Games and Sports, though he became part of the office that directly oversees the British and Irish Quidditch League.
It was through his position that he met Audrey Chambers, then a reserve chaser for the Appleby Arrows. Their romance was short. Some more fanciful people (like his mother) would call it whirlwind and romantic. Truth be told, Percy just did not want to wait and for once in his life it felt like he was doing something that would make him happy and his family would approve. Audrey was hardly his complete opposite, but she pushed Percy into trying new things without making him feel like there was something wrong with him for not having tried it previously. They had a small ceremony outside Sheffield out of respect of Audrey's muggle family.
Audrey and Percy have been married for over four years and Percy would say they're perfectly happy, but not perfect. Two years into their marriage they gave birth to their only daughter, so far, Miss Molly Constance Weasley.
