She grinned, clearly amused by his reaction. It was exactly what she'd been going for. "D'you like it?" she said, giving herself a twirl. "Mum sent me the leotard and everything. Tail and ears are real, too, but don't tell anyone, yeah?"
Dora hugged him tightly, holding on for just a split second longer than she normally would have, especially when all of her friends could see. But it was nice to see her dad again, even if she knew that a very long and embarrassing lecture was coming the first chance he got. "I'm having loads of fun - everyone's here, and the costumes are funny. Music's not too bad, either." Again she grinned. "Didja see the food?" She flashed her teeth right back at him, having quickly morphed the four appropriate one into fangs. "Is Mum here? She's not here, is she?"
