WHO: Bill Weasley and Nymphadora Tonks
WHERE: The Hogwarts Kitchens
WHEN: Saturday evening, after dinner
WHAT: Hanging out and conversation
RATING: TBD
Dora sat on an out of the way counter in the kitchens, watching the house elves as they cleaned up after the students. She hadn't eaten much at dinner, too worried about everything that was going on. Had she eaten much, she knew she'd have been sick to her stomach, and that was the last thing she needed.
Remus was a werewolf. She'd had her suspicions before, but now...having it confirmed by him was a completely different manner. More than that, however, was her reaction. She'd expected herself to be frightened, but instead she felt quite the opposite - she felt protective, as if his burden was now partially hers to bear as well. And the thought of anyone saying anything against him because of his lycanthropy made her wand to hex something. Instead of being scared, she was fully willing and ready to defend him, and that wasn't a reaction she'd been prepared for.
Sighing lightly, she waited for Bill as she nibbled on a a biscuit. This wasn't a conversation she was looking forward to, either. She hadn't seen much of him since she'd admitted to snogging another bloke, but now they needed to talk. It was more the issue of her having to choose between him and Remus - she was sure that had there not been any sort of problem between her and Bill, she'd have never been tempted in the first place. But now that she knew there must've been something, she'd thought on it, and she'd come up with something that she'd tried to speak to him about before, but without much headway having been made. This time she was determined to talk to him and to set things straight. They needed to do something about the place they were in, and she didn't want to lose her best friend. That made things much trickier than they ought to have been, and just the thought of it made her stomach turn.
