It is with the greatest sincerity that I express my hope that you are all adjusting well in this trying time for our world. I understand the difficulty that many of you are facing with the mandates relating to marriage, but I implore you to follow through with the laws set before you. In the effort of public safety and consistency, the Ministry is required to distribute punishments evenly and without prejudice.

Those of you who have a history of consistent noncompliance who continue to refuse to do your duty as a citizen in this new era of our world must prepare yourselves for the consequences. Given the amount of dissent and lack of compliance, the following security measures have been enacted:

- The presence of Dementors has once again been reinstated in Azkaban. Along with this, they will also now be a featured element of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. From this point forward, at least one Dementor will be on-hand for every arrest.
- We will begin relocating the overly delinquent couples to Ministry-monitored apartments to enforce compliance.
- Weekly searches of homes and businesses of those who appear to be attempting defiance will take place. A Dementor will be present during these searches.

You may note that full compliance will exempt you from these actions.

Please understand that these actions are purely in the interest of your safety and the safety of our future. We must resist the temptation of rebellion in this present time and must instead unify to survive.

Also understand that these actions are very minor in comparison to those we will be forced to take if the trend of noncompliance continues. I regret the infringement on your rights that is occurring, but this desperate time has called for desperate measures.

Remember that our power will come from our unity.

( As she crossed the threshold into the kitchen, Alison looked around, wondering what exactly she intended to do with all this pent up aggression. She decided to start with making breakfast and coffee, but going about it in a much louder, and clumsier way than usual. Pots and pans were clanging together and smashing into the countertops, making a bloody racket, but Alison didn't care. She turned on the WWR as loud as it could go, grimacing at the volume and current song. )

Who: Lee Asher, ^TheEvan Cornfoot, and Kalen Sloper.
What: Evan and Lee meeting for the first time, Kalen and Evan taking Leee out for drinks, Lee drinking ridiculous amounts and possibly passing out in Evan's bed (much to Leeny's dismay).
Where: Sloper's house, then the apartment, then the pub, then back to the apartment.
Why: Because RA is officially OPEN and we needed a thread.
How: Uhh, Modness?
Rating: PG-13 for language. Unless Lee gets rowdy with language. Or Kalen. Kal's got a bad mouth.
Status: INcomplete.

( Things always changed in the expanse of time that she was gone, so she made a habit to check certain things as though the rocks and the trees and the birds belonged solely to her. )
