Who: Logan/Wolverine and Buffy Summers
What: Arriving
When: November 16th, afternoon.
Where: A bar in Red Oak
Rating: PG (TBD)
Status: in progress
Notes: He did just get there so please no beating him over the head with anything canon he doesn't already know. I'm bringing him in after the second movie so he doesn't know Jean came back from the dead or that he had to kill her.)
He brought the bike to a stop and raised a brow. This town definitely wasn't what he was used to. His usual choice of scenery was little dive towns where he could get a cheap beer and not get noticed because the residents were seedy enough they didn't ask questions. This place was obviously not like that. But either way, he had no choice and had to stop, the bike was hitting dangerously close to empty and he was getting tired. Logan pulled into a gas station and stretched as he got off, rolling his head back which caused an audible crunch as his neck popped.
Walking inside he nodded to the bike and laid his money on the counter and asked for a cigar as well. Of course they didn't have his usual Cohiba, but anything would do right now. The guy behind the counter was a pretty young kid. He asked him where he could find a place to stay and then where he could get a good stiff drink. Logan seriously doubted a place like this had a bar that condoned a caged ring to fight in.
Logan tried to decide which was a more pressing need, rest or a drink. What he needed more was sleep, what he wanted more however, was not. After filling the bike he drove to where the boy had directed him and parked. Walking inside he noticed again it wasn't his typical kind of joint, but he'd deal with it as long as they gave him no trouble and kept the booze coming. After taking a seat at the bar he put the cigar between his lips and fished for his lighter in his jacket pocket. The tender hadn't turned around and faced him yet but that didn't mind him at all.
"Whiskey."
