As she went to walk away, Oliver grabs a hold of her wrist, intent on holding her there, "Look, I really don't want to argue with you because I know you're already dealing with other things that I could never understand, but I need you to try to calm down and understand that the Oliver Queen you walked out of the Manor with is the same Oliver Queen standing in front of you right now. He just has a side job." There were a million of other thoughts running through his head, all in response to what she had previously stated, but he thought right now it would just sound like excuses. That's all everything seemed to amount to right now in her mind and it wasn't helping them any for him to keep trying to explain only to further push her away. That's not what he wanted. And if he knew she wouldn't blow up about it, he'd tell it to her straight. He wanted her to remain a part of this life he started here for himself. He wanted to tell her every secret-- every pain-- but he couldn't. Not right now, but if he didn't say something he may never get to say anything to her ever again. That was not a regret he wanted to add to his already growing collection.
