Is there an interest in a historical/victorian type of game? Think Dukes and Ladies, prostitutes, arranged marriages and amazing dresses?

If there is, does anyone have any suggestions? What kind of storylines would you like to play in such a game? What does a game like that need to offer? What would you look for?

Something like that would be beyond interesting. Personally I'd love to explore either an arranged marriage or something femme. Perhaps a mix of the two. Mm, perhaps a good one would having it centered around a community of some sort? Keeping it smaller rather than it being say the whole of London kind of thing. I'm not sure if that would work. Or what about it being centered around a certain thing happening? A serial killer? or...something. Ha, sorry. Something which ties them all together would be good.

I definitely agree with you. I was thinking more along the lines of having a small community of active characters, rather than a very large one. A serial killer could be very interesting! Think Perfume : Story of a Murderer and Jack The Ripper. Of course there would be arranged marriages, as well.

turpinslaw is the only community on insanejournal I know of that has all those elements. I am contemplating creating another Victorian game myself, however, as the roleplaying world could use more of them. I'd like to talk to you and your friend if you are serious about the creation of such a game, as I have never been a moderator before. Do you have AIM?
